I am trying to create a custom TICK indicator (like the NYSE TICK) for a selected group of quotes.

i have seen this video from the Investor R/T website that deals with this
(sorry was not able to link since it is my first time posting)

and after sending the indicator :

( (LAST > LAST#1) - (LAST < LAST#1) ) +
( (LAST#1 > LAST#2) - (LAST#1 < LAST#2) ) +
( (LAST#2 > LAST#3) - (LAST#2 < LAST#3) )

to the quote page and recalculating it every 1 second the values do not change. They remain at 1.

Did i do something wrong? Are there any settings or obvious conditions i did not meet?

Is there another way to create a custom Tick indicator for select stock or group of stocks?

just want to add that this custom indicator is working for my other quote lists of stocks but not the SPDR (ETFs) like XLF or XLE.

wanted to update and state that i got a basket of stocks to produce a custom tick with the previous custom indicator formula mentioned by Chad in the the Investor R/T video but, i am still having trouble have it update unless i have the custom Quote highlighted.
