Most likely the most asked question ever...
Whats the most productive features to scan for in searching for equities about to breakout to the upside?

Please list all of the items included in the scan? (Any trading platform, just looking for the scan items)

Thank you Happy trading.

Great question. Depends on your time frame but if you are on a weekly chart I find 52week breakouts with high betas tend to trend extremely well. I use 1 and higher as a rating for beta. Any stocks breaking out of their 52 week highs with lower betas tend to have lower volatility in my experience and thus can be a capital drain on better breakouts down the road.

To find the 52 week highs I use: 52 Week Highs ? Stocks with new highs
And to screen the betas I use: SYPR | Key Statistics for Sypris Solutions

Works pretty well for a portfolio approach. Maybe you wanted something for daytrading? Perhaps the same would work but you would need an additional filter to find the one's with the largest daily range I would assume that would help.

Good luck with your trades

I appreciate the guidance.
I am seeking any input on what has been most productive so this is great.

Keep up the great work.

Stan
