Hi guys,

I am looking for an account to trade stocks and ETFs (long-term for retirement) in addition to my day trading accounts I have. I am not US resident, therefore IRA is not necessary to consider.

I am banking with HSBC, TD Bank and Bank of America. TD Ameritrade is out of question as they do not accept European customers. Because of my bank acct. at BofA, I am looking at Merrill Edge. Does anyone has experience with it? How does it stand compare to (let say) Fidelity or Schwab?

Or maybe other suggestions?

One more thing - would it be safe to use IBKR for this?
