There is another thread about this too, but I can't find it at the moment.

Here is a pic of my desk.

More details here:

Mike

Looks good Mike. Apart from the video of that psychopath Greenspan on the lower left monitor

Anybody have any experience with sit/stand adjustable desks?

GeekDesk® Adjustable Height Desks - GeekDesk Max

Thinking about picking one of these up, seem to be pretty well priced, but I'll save some cash by buying the frame only and making a top myself.

@addchild

That's a fancy one.

This one is manually adjusted ( hand crank ) but half the price.

Depends on what you want, I guess.

@fredifrosch

How dare you try to pass off a picture of what is obviously a picture of a Super Model as your wife....

Ahh, a woman who knows her place in way around a kitchen is a woman who knows how to please a man. Good times. What I just said is unarguably absolute truth, though some delusional folks out there may think it sounds sexist.

Nice chair. I considered them a couple times, but just couldn't talk myself into spending that kind of money on a chair.

Nice desk too, I wish I had a desk that deep. We learn from our mistakes

Mike

I had Aerons back in 1998-2001 when I worked at buy.com and various spinoffs from there, they are really nice chairs, but I wish they had higher backs for better neck support.

I have posted mine before but here is a slightly arty shot for the thread. Like Mike, I have my dog by my side when trading and she is trained to identify trends :P

Mac mini is for surfing when I don't need the beast turned on or for downloading my favourite tv shows while I'm in bed.

Had the same monitor setup for a while and the computer specs are below. Bought it mid last year and designed it to last 3-5 years depending on what technology does.

i7-2600k overclocked to 4.4ghz
Asus P8z68-v Pro
Asus 6950 2Gb
16Gig 2133 Ram
Many hard drives
Silverstone FT02 USB3
TV tuner card
Logitech Dinovo for Notebooks (Unlike the current trend of clicky keyboards I like notebook slim line ones)
Logitech Performance MX mouse.

The notebook, pen and ruler are my old fashion Trading Journal tools. I have tried many different trading log tools but I haven't found anything that beats it.
