Hello,
I have a small question about configuring booktrader in TWS.
See attached chart for hypothetical trade.

What I'am looking for: suppose the long order will be filled, it is possible to manually shift the attached take-profit/loss order by using the arrow-keys on your keyboard. But how can you transmit the order using a shortkey? ( other then left-click which shows irritating pop-up with "transmit")

Does anyone know how to configure this? I have looked in 'configure' but somehow I can't get it done.

Thanks!

I find it difficult to configure many things on TWS. I don't use hotkeys. But buttons with my mouse on booktrader. The buttons are configured to bracket orders. The point of my reply is I didn't know how to configure bracket orders. So I use the account management portal to send a message to Support. They replied with the correct information to help me get it configured. Contact Support.

Thanks for answering Tiberius. I have sent an email, if I will get a solution from IB I will post it here.

Under I posted a chart how one can easily ( but not what I needed here) configure presets for bracketorders. Not for you Tiberius - you will already know this - but maybe new traders will find it handy.

Update: contacted IB, it is not possible to configure, unfortunately. Also asked if maybe the pop-up size could be altered ( to make it smaller) but also not possible.

IB booktrader is very annoying to configure! It took me a long time to program exactly how I want it to respond.

My biggest problem is booktrader does not recognize different instruments. If I was trading ES and wanted to quickly enter a CL trade, I would have to open a new booktrader screen. Also, preset settings cannot be entered for different instruments. I have looked and looked and looked but have not found how to do it!
