Good Morning,
I've tried writing this about 10 times but can't get it right. I'm 67 years old, got one foot in the grave but am not going to sit around and watch TV and suck my thumb. I'm learning to trade options from a mentoring group.... that was the second biggest mistake I've ever made. But none the less, I want to learn HOW to trade not what to trade, if that makes any sense. There is a psychology to this thing I want to conquer, a business side I want to learn and most of all be around some honest, sincere people who think as much for the guy next to them as they do for themselves. Anyone out there know anything about options or the Think or Swim platform give me a jingle.

Its been a while since you posted the questions but i was thinking of a something relevant today .

trading options seems easy and you have alla those nice strategies t play with

BUT the theory behind options is too complicated (theta, zeta and all that jazz).

A person just get dizzy by trying to learn about options let alone trding them .

If you want to trade start the easy way by papertrading an index and at the same time do some study on options .

I personally would use options for the purpose they were created , hedging.

Hello,
Thank you very much for the sound advice. I am paper trading indexes and won't ever trade a stock. I understand what you are saying but it is a lot of fun. Just wanted to write and thank you for the response.
