........... How do i prevent such slippage when I take the market order and why does SP not want to accept limit order at approx 8:45 pm, this is still a working order as no bids and asks have been placed yet until 9:15 then only does this long candle present itself.

Woah Boy!!!! Take the time to understand what the markets are first. e.g. Regular Trading Hours versus Globex electronic trading hours, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. Start searching in Google then go CME and NYSE and NASDAQ etc. When you've done 10k hours in front of screen and explored 20 orthogonal dimensions and views of what might make them move then you will be world expert.
