Advanced Decline and Tick on NT7

Hi Guys

So i have been looking into trading ES on NT7 - currently im using TOS to look at the tick readings and the market internals. Im so used to using NT7 so id like to be able to continue using it!

I can get the NYSE tick to display on the bottom of my ES chart but ^ADD always shows zero data - its just blank. In
the instrument manager there are declining issues / advancing issues / up volume / down volume etc some of which work and others dont ;-(

So ADD is listed but dosnt work - very confusing

BTW I have a feed from amp (cqg) and Mirus (zenfire)


Any ideas

Its $ADSPD specifically that im looking for - thats the TOS code - i believe its ADD on NT7

I have the same question...I'm trying to see how can I use Advance/Decline and TICK on NT7.

Did u get to find out?

Go to your AMP account platform setup, scroll down to the data feed checkmark, where it has $15 checked. Under that you should see Nyse Index data for $5, check that and submit. After they confirm adding it, your tick and other stuff will start showing. You might need to log out.

I ended up having to chat with tech support because they have to manually set this up on your cqg feed.

I have a chart template for my tick data window, but its not incorp into the price charts.

I've attached my XML template for your \Documents\NinjaTrader 7\templates\Chart folder.

Here is a screenshot of how it should look, assuming you start with a 1 second data line on close:


Here is also my Dow Tick data (where my line colors are correct :-)


Finally here are all the rest of the index cumulative data all in one shot:

Thank you for the information. I didn't know I had to pay $5 extra for TICK. That explains why it never refreshed. lol

I just finished taking this to a whole new level, check out my new indicator called DavesBetterTick



I also included the template and instructions.

btw, the indicator was inspired partly by you guys, thanks for the idea! :-)
