I'm having difficulity in determining the maximum number of ticks profit in the current trade...

As an example... my strategy has taken a position with three contracts, each with a seperate profit target.

I want to determine the maximum number of tics profit since I took the position. I will then use that to calculate and reset my stop as necessary...

Is it possilbe to determine the max tics in the trade?

Of course.

- Store the entry prices and entry bar #.
- Store the highest high and lowest low since the entry bar.

Now you have the MFE.
