Back to the new poll system, there is a bug. It seems the last minor update ended up creating a new bug, so I am in progress of fixing it. May take a few days.
This will need to happen before I continue with this:
I finally have the new polls product in-place which will cut the amount of time needed by half. So what I plan to do this week is to go ahead and create all the polls necessary for the voting of "NexusFi (formerly BMT) Best of Trading …
Since you reported the bug I wanted to mention you. The bug is fixed now. Press Ctrl-F5 on forum homepage to force browser to reload and update cache. For other users, cache expires after 72 hours.
Please let me know, this should solve the problem.
Another note for those who care, current server is limited to approx 12 thread views per second at full load.
New servers will handle approx 78 thread views per second.
So it's not just the latency or response time for threads to load that is improved (roughly 3x faster), but also a significant increase in capacity (load).
Tests were done using a common thread containing thousands of posts and attachments, to simulate a good average.
I hope to bring the new servers online soon (1-2 weeks).
