Mike, those are my browsers at work. We cannot update to the latest versions due to compatibility issues with our Oracle ERP system and our Hyperion software. Anyway, I had the same issues on my home browser which is Firefox v21. But now it seems fixed.

The short answer is that SSL helps keep the site more secure in many different ways. And with nginx now supporting the SPDY protocol, I felt like it was the time to switch.

I need to rebuild the post cache again to commit changes I've made to the image caching module. I've learned that this means over the next hours, some posts that include @ mention tags will look broken. This will be fixed in about 1-2 hours.
