Max,

Everything is just a lot easier in EasyLanguage. Often in C# it takes two or three steps where in EL it takes just one. This is especially true of DataSeries.

Plotting is also about 1 million times better on EL. One line of code can take care of multi-color plots whereas on NT it takes probably 20 lines of code per multicolor plot.

Mike

The big difference is easy language (and the underlying platform) hides all of the infrastructure, and exposes just what you need to get the majority of things done. So for most indicators you don't really need to do much. This also means the learning curve is much shorter and allows more people to try to do their own thing.

The trade off is that there are things that are not easily done or not possible because you do not have access to the low level internals of the platform. Most people do not need this level of complexity.

For the vast majority of people, this is a good trade off.
