Hi guys, i've got a problem.

I've two systems applied to 1 chart:

System 1 : With Stop loss
System 2 : Without Stop loss

System 2 read the stop loss of System 1, going out from the market many times.
I think that it happens, because "SetStopLoss" function works if Marketposition <> 0.

Anyone have some ideas to solve this problem ?

Thank you very much in any case.

Cordially

It would be helpful to know which platform. Regardless, you have set the stoploss based on the state of the strategy and not the state of Marketposition. It may be easier to control this if both strategies are in the same file, depending.

Thank you vega for your answer.

Platform is multichart, and setstoploss function works if Marketposition is <> 0, so if you have two strategies active on 1 chart, this will make some conflict between stop loss.

I understand, but you can't change this fact. You have to set the stoploss using other criteria, specifically whether the strategy itself is open or flat, not whether your account is open or flat.

For example the logic would be something like,

if entry criteria met then state[0] = 1 else state[0] = state[1]
if state[1] == 0 && state[0] == 1 then set stoploss
if stoploss hit then state[0] = 0

Hopefully that makes sense or someone who knows easy language can help you with the specific code.

Why not open an additional account and have 2 charts?
You can split your capital between 2 accounts under the same name and have each chart shooting orders to a different account number?

I hope this helps.

Matt
