hello tderrick....i like BetterRenko for most size bars, and have recently started using UniRenko for my smaller Trading chart for Entry/Stops/Exits.
This seems to be Good for me.
I use range bars for part of my analysis because they're universally portable between just about every platform and they adequately show the high and low. They do reduce noise but they also allow you to see when price stagnates. This is something you won't be able to see as much with renko charts.

I use RJay's RenkoHybrid 2.0 bars (latest version), they can be adjusted to show Dojis as well when the option 'XRay Candles' is selected.

does anyone know the criterias to form a new bar in a range situation? It seems, that the colour of the candle regulary change green-red-green-red until a high or low is broken. Are there a number of ticks needed or sth. else to form a new bar in the row? Thanks!
