Here's my MACD Histogram divergence indicator first beta release. I'm sharing it to gather suggestion and ideas. Please be very specific and include a annotated picture of any bugs or improvements.
When the hist. crosses the zero line the ind. starts to look for a new divergence.
NOTE: ALTHOUGH, other indicators are available in the pull-down they DO NOT WORK. I will work on them later. Or, better yet, maybe someone else can.
Thanks guys,
Zac
Indicator Setting: 1. The ind. will Not work with 'calculate on bar close' set to False.
2. The default setting are for the ES.
3. DeltaPrice- This is the minimum required price difference from high to high or low to low. Keep in mind 0.75 is only 3 ticks in the ES. That would be 75 ticks(75 cents) in the CL, which is high (unless you are looking at daily bars). The 6E moves in .0001 ticks, so a .75 move in the 6E would never happen. .0005 is probably a more reasonable setting for the 6E.
4. DeltaIndicator- This is the minimum required indicator difference, in percentage, of the recent high/low to the prior high/low. A setting of 0.99 will show more divergences. 0.5 will show practically none.

5/15/10 - Written on NT 6.5. Probably will Not work on NT 7 without minor code adjustments.
Arrows are a part of the ind.
I take it you did not get a screen shot when the histogram was not plotting, because both images show the histogram. My chart shows the same histogram levels as your chart. I do see that the divergence line did not plot in the second image, but the …
:faint:Known Issues: NT 7 has a bug with DrawOnPricePanel setting. So, if the divergence line does not plot on the price panel from time to time, it's an NT bug. I posted this issue and NT is looking into it. Here's a link to NT's answer …
Hi,
Is this for NT7 or 6.5?
on my NT7 it says:
import failed. The ninjascript archive file may contain duplicate method names that already exist on your PC or there is a required file missing on either your PC or in inport import archive
HI Zachary thank you for sharing.i used your indicator on a 4 range chart of the ES and seems to work ok.my question are the arrows part of the indicator.or you just drew them for ilustration purpose(manually).
thanks
this is a great indicator.it would be nice if somebody with a knowledge of programing could add a sound alert.for when the red dot appears or the histo is above or below zero
thnks
Looks pretty cool zakd, but it's not working on mine for some reason, there was good divergance where I drew lines, but indicator not showing it. Hmmm.
