I've always used 30M time charts for ASX stocks so just pay for ASX stock data through IB for TWS. As most users are aware IB don't provide historical tick, hence the reason for the strategy.
I found an strategy to record tick data without the need to maintain a bunch of open charts. If this strategy can work, then it would be a nice feature to also have the flexibility to look at range/renko charts.
I've uploaded the .cs file - the codes for ASX stock codes are in my database as XXX_ASX to differentiate them from US stocks.
If anyone would like to have a go at checking this it would be greatly appreciated
