I attended one day in maria roussos training room from tradeorderflow.com. he is selling software for $3k and I am wondering if someone has experience dealing with this company and would like to share what they thought.

That seems like a lot of money. While I cannot answer your question I do have a question:

What was your first impression of the product after your time into the trading room?

After glancing at the websit 'Trade the emini's" I must say i was not impressed. I could be wrong though........
I am not an expert but I am a rookie who has combed the internet for Holy Grails and privledged info.
I actually discovered Bug Mikes while researching a purveyor who turned out to be not only a fraud but a lunatic as well.
I would mention his name but he is out there lurking in the shadows ready to blast me with his secret doomsday code! (I never should have given my email to that guy)

The best lessons i have learned have been from placing trades in real time. i read a lot of books, I simulated, But nothing bar none is as valuble as personel experience,in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong.... All of the reading, studying, and searching were essential and neccessary as well. One has to build a vocabulary and have an idea of what is going on.

If you have several thousand to blow on a Holy Grail claim then you have several thousand to place some trades and learn some lessons. Who knows maybe you are a ringer and will turn that several thousand into 10's of thousands.

If it is orderflow you want then I suggest searching that term here.

I think of orderflow and interrpretation of it in terms as a surfer trying to pick a wave. The ocean is rhythmic but chaotic.
If I pick the wrong wave then I may miss the good one while getting bck into posistion. The only way to become one with the randomness of the ocean is to watch it. To paddle out into it. Smell the air. Taste the salt. Oh and watch out for the sharks!

OK I am getting ridiculous now but you get the picture.

In short, I feel that these signal producing Get rich systems are based on things that you already have at your fingertips and in your mind and in the platform that you are trading on. Orderflow itself is open to interpretation by the indivittle.

I have been researching it a lot myself and just watching the ocean.

Best money I spent other than on a trade was the $100 to become an elite member of this forum.

Focuses on teaching you a method with emphasis on proper risk and money management, trading psychology, and discipline. Does not try to sell you an indicator package that they claim will make you money if you follow it. Does not try to sell you an automated trading system that they claim will make you money if you follow it. Clearly/visibly lists their phone number. Call the phone number and verify you can speak to the owner of the company. Clearly/visibly lists a physical address. Use Google Maps and see what the address is. Do a Google search on the address and see if it's a virtual office space, or a real address. If virtual, question the owner about why he needs a virtual office space address. Check to see how long ago the website was registered, sites like DomainTools | Whois Lookup, DNS Lookup, Reverse Whois Lookup can help. They should have a money back/refund option that is clearly defined on the website. Don't let them tell you there is no refund option because of their special indicators or system. You don't want special indicators or a system. They offer one-on-one coaching, unlimited time/questions for no additional cost. Do a google search for their company name and read all the reviews you can find from sites like NexusFi (formerly BMT). Any reviews made by any poster with less than 50 posts should be thrown in the trash, and I am speaking from direct experience - an overwhelming number of vendors register multiple accounts to promote their own products performance (btw, they get banned on NexusFi (formerly BMT) when I catch them). I hope others can add to the list. BTW, if you want me to make recommendations - sorry. I have no recommendations to make on where you can go find the above service. Instead, my recommendation is to just forego the search for this type of help and instead focus on helping yourself. Can a personal trainer help you lose weight? Yes. But you also can lose weight on your own, without their help. Your best bet is to read the rest of the posts on NexusFi (formerly BMT) and learn from the many great threads and thousands of posts on this site. And if you say that is too much to learn or read, then just give up trading now... it takes a lot more discipline and a lot more time than you apparently have Hope this helps. Mike

use indicators from Gomi at Elite section on NexusFi (formerly BMT)

I have spent thousands upon thousands on software claiming to give me profits and showing me the way to trade. I pretty much gave up in the end thinking I could solve my own problems.
I did some research on market profile and orderflow and knew nothing about Marias room or product. I was introduced to her through another trader as i was about to pull the trigger on a market profile trading system. Luckily for me I did not enter into purchasing the other product and chose Maria.
She basically tells you how it is and does not mince words. The idea is to educate you on how to use the tools as opposed to spoon feed you.
Since using this system (about 2 months) I am now making decent returns. Yesterday I traded the DAX, the TF, CL and NQ and had my best day ever of $1930 trading one contract and 2 on NQ.
Today I have traded the DAX only and up 1500 euro trading one contract.
So please before you make any criticism and make cynical remarks perhaps you should take a moment and ask for a trial and see for yourself.
Frankly I am extremely happy......are you!!

Owning a Porsche does not mean you know how to drive it......same goes for trading. Tools do nothing for you unless you are prepared to invest the time to use them properly.

Here is the interesting thing. Stupid me thought I was bringing something to the community by giving a heads up on a system. Obviously I am posting in the wrong place as really all people want to read is bad news and how crap a system is.
As far as I am aware Maria is not allowed to self promote and I hope that Big Mike does not allow ANYONE to self promote hence the need for a community but I'll be darned if I want to participate in a community that only wants to slag off a system. Heck I could write 30 notices on crap systems but I choose not to as someone out there may find it works for them, so I say this works for me.
