No _ just a manual arrow put in by me - sort of thinking through a theory.
Also I replaced jtRangeMarker with HighLowBreakouts - my own contribution to the forum in the elite download section.
Hey Perry, thanks a bunch for the thread! Question - do you know of any MA Slope lines or boxes that aren't a bar or two behind in their measurement. I can't tell you how many trades I've made where the dot or line is one color at the end of the bar only to have that section of line change colors with a sudden change in slope of the current bar. Thoughts? It kind of takes away a lot of the power of using slope. Thanks Perry!
just wanted to say "thanks" for sharing your system including the indicators, rules and how you watch the mkt.
after spending much of the day reading all the threads starting from 1 to current, i have successfully managed to get all the indicators and settings installed on the chart. it looks like you have changed a few tweaks here and there with the original idea of trying to teach us how to read price action. i think that is what it is all about. maybe we can use this as a "tool" in learning how to read price action and not fuss over the settings so much. i will have this template up and running starting next week during the mkt and will be excited to see it in "realtime".
you mentioned that this is how you trade on a daily basis. do you trade live with this template and if so, for how long and has it been profitable for you.
how do u use the ema percentage in teh bottom right corner - what the percentage for long or short determanation - i have modified alittle the setup - wondering your thoughts about it - since i dont use range bars or have not figured how to use them correctly i cant get inot understandting the rangemarker
i need help... i have been spending countless hours on this site lately and whenever i find an interesting indicator i cant seem to import it into my platform as the problem appears to be that they are 'cs' files.... i have searched and found various posts indicating how to do it but i cant seem to get it to work,, anyone??
Indicators come in zip and cs formats. Zip ones are easier as you only need to perform the following and no additional compilation required:
Control Center - File - Utilities - Import NinjaScript
For indicators in cs format, you will need to do the following:
1. move them to the Indicator folder (My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\Custom\Indicator)
2. Control Center - Tools - Edit NinjaScript - Indicator
3. pick an indicator and press "F5" to compile
According to NJ Customer Service, you only need to "F5" compile successfully once. All new indicators will then be available. Good luck!
Note: There are certain indicators (for example MedianRenko) that require you to log out before they are available. For indicators with a _, they are listed before indicators start with A.
