Yes, it shows where conditions are met and keeps found values until conditions met again. When price is inside the channel it means conjestion mode is coming
I can't seem to find anywhere online (or here) how to get ThinkScript to automatically draw numerous trendlines on the chart for me. Can this even be done? I'd really appreciate a reply from someone who knows for a fact.
My request for a trendline is actually simpler than normal. I would want it to plot a line based on a single point (swing high or swing low) and an angle. If it can't be done this way, then what about the traditional 2- point way?
I am trying implement a sound alert when a certain condition is met, eg, indicator value hits a predefined value/level. What is the syntax of the thinkscript for generating sound alert?
My request is they allow Futures trading to Canadians......
there is high demand for this as there are so few brokers that do Futures in Canada due to legislation requirements. A few companies much smaller than them do it so not sure why ToS can't
Hello - I am hoping to get help on a simple TOS indicator.
Let's say I have a ES 1 min chart.
I would like to track the new high and low of the day, starting at a configurable time, say 10am.
ie, a line starts at 10am bar at its low and high, these two lines extend horizontally upto the right edge of the y axis.
If the next bar has a new high, then then HIGH line gets updated to the new high price level and so on.
Similarly for the low.
I hope the explanation is clear. Thanks much in advance!
I looked but couldn't find if you were ever answered. If not let me know an I'll see what I can do. If I understad the question the answer is yes. Let me know and we will talk about it
Yes, I have asked multiple times. Unfortunately all I can on the phone is the first line support person. They just say they have chosen not to offer it but many customers have requested it and will forward my request up to their managers. So I have no idea if they are forwarding it.
I do know the regulatory space is more complex in Canada with each province but IB and RJO have set up offices in Canada and offer Futures to all Canadians. There area number of US based brokers who offer Futures to Canadians which is one route I am also exploring.
It is frustrating that the ToS platform is the best one I have found but doesn't allow it even though TD is a Canadian company they don't offer services to Canadian clients... If anyone knows a contact at TD Waterhouse higher up the food chain to contact let me know
