Anyone know how to backup data in Multicharts or even where the data / indicators are stored?

For Indicators , simply export those indicators, functions and signal files from PowerLanguage Editor.

For Databases , if ur a window7 / vista user. Go to folder options > Tick Show hidden files and folders ( on )

C :\ Program Data \ TS Support \ Multicharts

Same can be found in win XP in documents and settings >> application data.

Just copy that folder , save it on another drive. Replace it on other machine or fresh MC installation.

Cheers,
Darshiit

I run this batch script on a scheduled basis daily.

Code

cd "C:\ProgramData\TS Support"

xcopy "C:\Users\Mike\Documents\MultiCharts\backup\ProgramData" /////
Then it automatically gets backed up to my cloud server, and to my USB drive.

Mike
