You certainly run into difficulties, if your session template for the upper series is different from the template for the lower series. But if both series have the same template it should be displayed orderly.
But there is a NinjaTrader bug for tick charts, so I would not be astonished if - depending on the session template - there were problems with minute charts as well.
The key to this problem is realizing that the only thing that really matters is for each bar of the secondary dataseries to be synchronized with a bar of the primary dataseries. So whenever a new bar starts for the primary series, a new bar starts for the secondary series.
This is easy to do using an indicator that incorporates the Add method and samples the secondary series at least several times during the life of each bar of the primary series.
The only problem with this is that the bars of the secondary dataseries will be of a variable duration. But for most purposes that really doesn't matter.
I believe the problem we were having & describing was having 2 data series on the SAME CHART. Not 2 different charts. As far as I know you cannot have 2 data series on the SAME chart in NT 6.5. Only NT 7 offers this & it does not seem to work properly - yet.
After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!

Underlined portion is indeed the case. And in NT6.5 you can't display indicators based on added data series, because the Add() method only works in strategies, not in indicators.
However in NT7 I am finding that such indicators, where a secondary data series is ADD()ed, do work well enough to be reliably useful.
Your chart looks so nice & easy to read. Here's mine (TF 09-10) from today using 12 MedianRenko & 4 MedianRenko data series. All F*****D up! and the indicators are unreadable, too. Did Ninja intend it to look this way? What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
