Hey guys,

So im still at the reading stage and I have also been watching webinars on the basics of trading. Now I need to start practicing however I cant seem to find a platform suitable for Imac. Can anybody recommend one that is easy to learn?

Also, does anybody have a good brokerage to recommend in Canada?

any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Interactive Brokers and TD Ameritrader (ThinkOrSwim) these are written in Java and work on MacOS

Bootcamp and windows 7 will be your friend. As mentioned previously you have very few choices and TWS and TOS are not among the best plateforms in my point of view due to the fact that data feed is not very accurate for both of them. But depending on what you need they may be ok. But on the other hand they are easy to use and to understand.

Like others before have already mentioned, TOS runs reasonably well on iOS. No experience with IB
