I am interesting trading WTI and would like to use another product to test confluence....which products behave similarly to WTI and are the best to assess confluence?

A lot of people that trade CL also like trading TF. I don't want to play the fees to trade TF other wise I would. To my knowledge they act very similarly in the sense of strong violent moves are not uncommon on even non-news days.

Just my two cents though,
If you are starting out, don't start with crude. I did and lost a lot of money in the learning process. I now wish I would have started with 6E or 6J. A much cheaper way to learn.
