I just started to play around with MC a little bit ( using the .NET version via TWS )
From the beginning the programm seems to run very slow. Like if I click on one of the tabs it takes 2 seconds till the menu open.. if I switch to the next tab again 2 seconds....)
I contacted the support regarding the issue who told me to deactivate my antivirus programm / firewall ( which beeing as paranoid as i am ) isnt really an option form me.
Anybody with similar experience?
(CPU load was never an issue while MC was open )

* There should be NO delay at all, either your computer is slow or you have a program slowing it down...
if your anti-virus program is causing the delay, try "Avast" , it causes no delays and is very effective..

you could try if your antivirus really is the issue over the weekend with disabled internet connection and antivirus. I have seen MC becoming lagging, but this was usually connected to the number of charts and studies running. But from the information you provided I could only guess if this is happening on your end, too.

Make sure that you're running the 64 bit version of MC and have at least 16gig ram...
I run about 10 workspaces full of instruments and studies with NO lag...(2-3 year old I7 processor) ..

Hmm...yes, its the 64bit version running. PC power also shouldnt be a problem ( as said its not the CPU load and always plenty of ram avalible)...
The lag ( or what ever someone would call it if it takes two seconds everytime someone switches between the tabs)
also appears just as the workspace is very empty ( like 4 charts no studies... )

I'm having the same problem. Huge lag...but CPU load never exceeds 30%.
