i see.......so not much of a delay before posting label#3.......your tweaking of the Indicator for the #2 breaching looks Good.
well in the charts i post i will always have the #1 as the Head of the H&S Pattern, but i am seeing you label differently.
maybe we are just looking at things in a Diff way.
Normally the Right Shoulder will be the Failure to make HH or LL depending on direction.
That would be your labeling #3 = Right Shoulder on the 6AU6 chart i posted.
the ES chart you posted with the labels 1-2-3 bottom is a smaller Inverted Head & Shoulders with #3 point being Right Shoulder or Higher Low.....you see what happened later as it moved much Higher than what your chart shows.
@taw131.....have you tried setting up your Charts with any lower pane Indicators to help with Confirmation of the #3 point
that the RossHook Indicator is plotting?
I think it would be Great if you would try Diff Oscillators in the Lower Pane under the Chart to see how it looks, and give you Better Understanding of the Signals.
It may help with Analyzing Signals.
If i may ask could you post your version of that RossHook Indicator?
I may try it , as well as @Zondor version
I would like to see Higher time frames, as well as lower time frames just to see if i could use that type Indicator on my Ninjatrader platform.
I may Combine it with the PAS Indicator i think it would be a Good combo.
Yes,i normally use volume for the entries. Also just took a PriceSquawk trial, but so far having hard times to get the notion of it.It`s just a constant cannonade of sounds so,anyway,i`m sure it could be useful when mastered.Just take the time i guess,as with everything.
I also use Zondors version as it was tweaked to get the ticksize between the point#1 and #2 for any instruments.Or what is it,do you need my settings?
To be honest,i don`t like PAS as it its has limitations. It counts swings arbitrary, based on a percentage, ticks, etc.Whereas,RossHook counts swings buy counting Lows,Highs,MIN,MAX,etc, naturally,as far as i understand it.
I may ask later for your settings if it is not a problem, but i will try and see what i come up with...then i may want to try what you have yours set to on Diff inputs.
Which one of the Indicators you mentioned work Best overall with plotting 1-2-3 labels?
Probably not. I just worked on it as a coding exercise. The changes do seem to make it run a lot better.
I don't think the one posted above is my latest version. The latest one is attached here. Use at your own risk. as no technical support will …
I think the color serialization was also fixed. With the Author`s version, the colors were reseting to transparent after refreshing. So the 2 known bugs were fixed. That`s why would be great to hear from the Author to check if there`s anything else wrong left.Apart of it,this one has got what it takes.
The default setting are perfectly ok,you just increase the distance between point #1 and #2.If you`d need the settings i use, feel free to ask.
