Hello Traders!

I am writing a simple strategy to automate trades on the Emini. I am using a demo account on Apex Trader to test this out and am having trouble translating the buy/sell orders.

Right now I am using this code:

if CurrentShares = 0 then
Buy ("test buy") 10 Contracts next bar at 2207 Limit;
SetStopLoss(6000);
SetProfitTarget(10000);
Print("entry price: ", EntryPrice);
Print("current contracts: ", CurrentContracts);
Print("market pos: ", MarketPosition);



Basically my problem is that when I look under "Strategy Orders" I see the order went through and I have my stop and profit orders pending. Also the log shows my entry price, 10 current contracts and market position is equal to 1 (all after the buy). But when I look at "Positions" in Apex I have none. When I look at order reports I also see that I have my stop/profit orders as working/pending but the original buy is not there.

Is this because I am using a demo account or is something not translating between EasyLanguage and the platform? I have only been using EasyLanguage for about 2 months so maybe I am not grasping the language quite well enough yet,

if the code log and strategy orders show that the orders went through it sounds like everything worked. You might want to make sure that you are looking at the correct account in Apex and also contact their support to make sure the positions should actually be displayed there.
