Looking at focusing on trading the last 2 hours of the pit session of the es mini.

There is lots of material around for opens but cannot find much on trading the close specifically.

Any good references would be greatly appreciated.

John Carter's "Mastering the Trade" book has a chapter on the 3:52 trade. Interesting concepts, basically looking to fade traders that missed the potential revearsal at 3:30 into the close.

there are a lot of orders on close to hit the market late. ETF need to reset .larger players like to buy or sell late, day trader and locals are trying to close out . you can have triple witching in play , and contract roll overs. but if i trade late i trade in the direction of developing value. if it is lower that yesterday look for short higher look for long..
