Hello

I did tried IB Adapter two weeks ago. Problem is I was not getting the same price from MC and IB adapter.

I did wrote in Multichart forum about that.
MultiCharts: Trading Software for Automated Trading and Backtesting • View topic - MC Spread on IB . Is MC is getting paid 1 pip by IB?

My conclusion was that MC was getting paid one pip over me since the price that I was receiving from IB Adapter was always around 1 to 2 pip lower. From the attach pict. You could see that for Eur.Usd and Eur.Jpy price quote was lower than MultiCharts price when i took a screen capture

Maybe you could explain how you use it. Did you compare the result with TWS or your broker. At any given time, do you have the same price quote on both?

Martin

I use the IB adapter for stock and option quotes, a 1 tick difference or 1 second delay doesn't matter to me..I use it for positions over several days..
Perhaps you should plot the "Bid" or "ask" in Excel (instead of last) and it will match closer. I've watched it live and it seemed very close to IB's price for stocks, I've never tried it with Forex...

I think you resolve the problem

I was capturing the last in Excel and Multicharts was displaying the bid.

Thanks

Martin
