Some of the programs that I have written in mutltichart in powerlanguage compile in Global Zen Trader but some of them do not compile ,do you know why?
GZT is EasyLanguage friendly. This means it "might only support the language to a certain degree". Depending on your code this might be the case here.
When you used any specific PowerLanguage reserved words (i.e. ones that are only available in Multicharts, but not in Tradestation) they won't be supported, too.
Do you know any platform that I can write a code in it same as multichart?
or is there any other way apart from contacting multichart company (like contacting brokers )to get the full platform of multichart?
I am not aware of a PowerLanguage friendly platform nor the ability to get the full PowerLanguage version for free. I have never searched for either, though, so you might want to do some research here.
Ah In life sometimes it happens that you try your best but it seems that all the doors are closed against you ,I think that is my situation now ,with difficulty I was trying to write codes but my trial with multichart finished and I can not find any other platform compatible with Easy language to give me trial,I think I have to stop thinking about writing a program at this stage, although I really want to .
it seems that this obstacle can be overcome quite easily, though. Subscribe to either Tradestation or Multicharts (or go for the lifetime license for the latter - maybe they even expand your trial when you ask them nicely). If this is not an option for you, you'll probably have to consider a different language and software like Ninjatrader and C#.
There's also a free version of MultiCharts .NET, by the way, which might be an option if someone want to use the MultiCharts platform but not pay for it (yet).
Our own @mattz can provide a demo of that free MultiCharts .NET version and set you up further. There are other brokers that offer that version too, just saying.
Thanks @Jura Yes, we provide Multicharts .NET free of charge.
If the trader is not a programmer, the .NET has the same functionalities as the Powerlanguage one.
Recently Multicharts 11(Beta) has added a bunch of really cool features. I will send it to you so you can update your site as well(professionally done!).
Thank you very much for the mention.
