Hi everyone.
I'm new to this forum but quite old in trading.
I'm an EasyLanguage maniac so i used TradeStation and now MultiCharts, but I would be very interested in finding the way to integrate some routines written in R , into my MultiCharts.
Any suggestions ?
P.S. I already know Zorro platform but I'm not confident with its graphic interface.

TheAlchemist,

I am not aware of an existing bridge, so you will probably have to create a DLL for this.

Many thanks to ABCTG.
I've heard it should be possible to create some filters with R and convert them in csv files and later import these csv into MultiCharts.
But even if it sounds easy I've never tried anything like this.
Any info about this kind of "bridge" or communication between MultiCharts and R routines ?

TheAlchemist,

you can read ASCII data into Multicharts and this link should get you going:
https://www.multicharts.com/trading-software/index.php/Importing_Data

You can also read csv files via ELCollections for example and you should be able to find the DLLs and documentation on the net and the official Multicharts forum, too.

Regards,

ABCTG
