Interactive brokers offers many order types that cannot be placed natively from NinjaTrader. I would like to be able to use C#/NinjaScript to bypass this limitation.

Has anyone worked with NinjaTrader -> TWS API directly?

I am looking for sample code and/or a wrapper. The only functionality I need is order placement.

Thanks.

A good start is probably the tutorial on the IB website : link

I would try to make the NT side as light as possible and make a small process next to NT that serves as a bridge and keeps the connection open. Keeping the connection open in a strategy is likely not a good idea (if you close an NT strategy, the class gets reset with all kinds of akward results..)
