I would like to know how could be TWS configured in simulated mode so that the limit orders get filled on touch. How are the limited orders filled by default?

Have you tried contacting IB support?

I just recently started paper trading on TWS, and it seems to me that my limit orders are filled realistically, as if I were placed in the queue.

by default you will get the limit price or better.

if you want to change your presets, just go to "global configuration" and find all trading objects under presets.
