Cannot find indicators, discussion's and come across an indicator not in the lists. Prefer the old format.

For now, I've replaced the navigation bar search with the old search -- and added a drop down link in that window for the new 'beta test threadloom search', so people can still use it if they wish.

Thanks Mike.
To me this is combining the best from both. You have still all the prior functionality but now you can have the smart search too.
Are there any drawbacks to you by keeping it this way?

I didn't get a chance to do extensive testing, but I think this is a good middle ground. I did like some of the features of the new search, but I thought that the old search was more suited for the quick searches I used the search bar for. I may end up preferring the new search as an option between the quick search of the old bar and the Advanced Search.
If I can, I will give the new one a better trial, but I am happier to have the old bar back.

Just found another feature of the Threadloom engine:
You can search by keyword and by user
example
assuming user:xplorer
returns all the posts by xplorer that contain the keyword 'assuming' or its derivatives (e.g. 'assume', 'assumed', etc.)
EDIT:
and this is pretty neat: if you are looking for a keyword but want to exclude a specific user you can exclude them in this way
assuming -user:xplorer (i.e. you put a '-' minus sign in front of the user: keyword)
this will give you all the instances of 'assuming' that were not posted by xplorer

Need more info, as no one else reporting any issue. What is the exact behavior? Please list steps to reproduce the issue.

I guess technically it works/worked. I just thought it wasn't because of how it displayed... (see attached)

There's something odd on your side. Here's how it displays on my browser -- Chrome Version 66.0.3359.181 (Official Build) (32-bit)

Your running some extension that is blocking important stuff, probably JavaScript. But just disable all that and it will work fine.

Ahh... I see. well I probably won't disable any of my safe-browsing extensions so I can search futures.io. I just read the new posts daily to keep up.
