Just contacted MC Live chat and it seems that there is no way to display indicator values for two different resolutions on one line in a scanner window. I can't believe it. It's a such a fundamental requirement.
The neatest solution they offer is to duplicate (or more, if you want more resolutions) symbols with different resolutions for each row to show the same indicator each row. This really doesn't seem workable, e.g. say 5 indicators across 3 resolutions across 50 symbols...super messy.
I'd be really interested in how others have worked around this? Different scanner workspaces for each resolution seems possible, but inconvenient.

one idea would be to send the resolutions and indicator values you want to see to a scanner workspace via Global Variables (you would be sending from other charts or scanners, though). This way you could see more than one resolution on one line.
To clarify, are you saying that if i plot the various indicators and resolutions on a chart(s) and have that display in a scanner window? Have i got that right?
If that's the case, unfortunately, it would simply become unworkable for me. I'd like a list of say 60 symbols and would like to be able to rank and review on a set of indicators showing values for different timeframes.
I really am astounded that there is such a big flaw in MC that it can't do such a fundamental thing. But they do seem to make everything overly complicated in MC. For excample rather than just clicking on a column header to rank your list in ascending/descending order of that value, the column header does nothing...instead you have to go to the scanner and fart about there.
I've found the function to "sort" the watchlist...i suppose if you sort by resolution, then by indicator values (up to 2 of), it allows me to do what i want...just messy.
they will have to be computed somewhere, but in a separate Scanner window might be simpler than having lots of charts open.
Alternatively you might be able to recreate higher time frame results out of lower time frame data (for example a 5 min chart can be recreated using 1 min data), but this will require a bit of coding and likely modifications to all indicators you want to use this way.
I had thought about the way you mentioned via coding the indicators to show the appropriate timescales, but MC support were adamant that this was not possible, which seemed a little odd to me. At this stage, that level of coding is beyond me (i'm new to coding).
Your first suggestion of using another scanner window seems more achievable for me, but I don't understand how you'd do this. I'd really appreciate any pointers you could give?
sending data across charts and or scanners will require external DLLs in most cases and I would suggest to study the Global Variables documentation which you can find in the official MC forum. This will provide you with one way to accomplish what you have in mind.
