I've read and looked all over and tried many coding attempts, but I've had no success.
How do I refer to and reference the close of $ADSPD (S&P 500 Advancing-Declining Issues) in TradeStation Easy Language?
In ToS, I make a definition of it like this: def ADIC = close(“$ADSPD”). Please help.
Thanks.

Hi taes7t,

you could add the data as additional data stream to your chart and reference it within your code. Using Object Oriented EasyLanguage you could also load the data within your code directly using a PriceSeriesProvider, but this will be a lot more complex than the first approach.

ABCTG

Excellent! I will use the first (easier) approach and look into the second approach. I probably know enough about the first approach to make it work. I was thinking in terms of thinkscrpt (ToS); thanks for the perspective!
Best regards,
Tim
