Hi everyone and Happy Easter!
I would like to write a show me with a print log that shows me for every year the high and low of the year and in wich month they occorred(and export this study to an external excel file).So for example i can calculate with what percentage the lows of the last 20 years occorred in october and the highs in december and so on.After i would like to go down with this analysis studying for every month when the highs and lows occurred in the first 10 days and last 10 days,and more down how many times occurred in a week at the first 2 days and last 2 days and finally every day in the first x hours and in the last y hours.
Do you think is it possible?
I started writing this code as a show me but it prints for every bar the annual lows and highs but not when they occurred,where am i wrong?Thanks and sorry for my poor english and very poor easylanguage skills

if Year( Date ) <> Year( Date[1] ) then

plot1(lowy(1),!("lowyear"));
plot2(highy(1),!("highyear"));
print(ElDateToString(date)," ", lowy(1):1:5," ", highy(1):1:5);

circeo74,

yes, this can be coded, but it might be easier to do the tracking of the values within the code yourself instead of using the built-in functions like lowy or highy. This way you can have your code track the period extremes (like the yearly high) and store the date every time there is a new extreme, too.
