Made some changes to the webinar one-click registration process. Should just be for @tturner86's benefit, but because it involves some underlying URL redirects/reformatting of webinar landing pages, I'm posting here just in case anyone sees strange behavior as a result -- please report.
I've just tried again. I first uploaded a file called ACvalue.pdf (52 Kb), then I edited the link and uploaded a different file, called 1110-Moving-Averages.pdf (1,092 Kb).
When I click on Download, I get the window below with the first filename, but the size of the attachment was wrong.
I downloaded the attachment and it is in fact the second one.
So it appears the download is working now, but somehow the cache it's reporting the wrong filename, correct size.
Ok I understand better now. It's been a while since I've looked, but I think the filename has a different place where you change it in the edit section for admins.
I went and checked a few known bad PDF's (black thumbnails), and they indeed have been corrected now. So all PDF's should be correct now, going forward as well as existing already-posted attachment thumbnails.
Made a somewhat major core change that implemented something I've been working on for a long while to automatically ban bots that are looking for exploits.
I've tried to be super careful to ensure no legit user gets banned here, but please report any problems. The script will allow you to access the contact us page even if you are banned.
I also get alerted anytime a ban is triggered, so I'll be monitoring each one individually to ensure it's working as intended.
Hmm, I've checked permissions and you should be able to do it. @sam028, @tturner86 can you please see if you can edit a Download entry and have the 'rename' option?
