You said there are ongoing investigations by the datafeed provider against Volfix. I asked you for the source (where you read about the opening of investigations against the platform) . You didn't know how to give me any further information about it. To speak for personal opinions without proof is to discredit. It is your opinion and this remains.
PS: I do not use Volfix, Sierra Charts or Atas and Ninjatrader since they became introducing broker. But other platforms for volumetric analysis
I heard or read somewhere in the internet (time ago) that not datafeed provider starts investigation but exchanges start to look a little bit closer to them... cause they think that volfix is refeeding the datafeeds to the customers - if its true, i don’t know... but seems logical when you look at the price range from volfix - it cant fit with exchange fees in anyway...
Maybe the future will show us if there is any illegal stuff with them.
The only proof out there is that they are cheaper than exchanges itself - what is impossible at a „normal“ company structure...
The VolFix price $150 per month not included market data for live trading.
For live trading via Volfix on CQG account I must buy market data via my broker (15$ per for all CME)
Yes, I think you're partially right.
I buy on my broker only CME market data.
But I can watching on volfix data also for other exchanges (like ICE).
But this data marked as "MT5 CFD" and have small DOM.
I do not fully understand what this means.
When I choose Ice or Eurex symbols on volfix order window on live account, I watch only end of day data and can't trading.
Strange, no volfix offer till today data for all exchanges on the website - and cfd data have no market depht (alone this seems not legal cause volfix is no data distributor and have no license - you can check this on cme/ice vendors list)
CFD can have DOM.
For example, you can get free real-time demo MT5 on AMP metatrader5 page.
It will be real CME/ICE market data, with small DOM (10 points).
