Anyone help with this please

I want to export my trade data to journal

In the Order and Position tracker window I select the Orders tab and where it says 'State' I select 'Filled Orders' and the select the dates I wish to extract.

Once done I right click on one or all of the orders and from the pop up menu I select 'Export to Excel...'

This is where things get whacky. Instead of Excel or another window opening asking me how I want to export the data I get a Personal Finance program called Money Dance opening and wanting to import the data.

Anyone know what's going on?

rb55,

this might not be caused by Multicharts, but maybe some file type (csv most likely) that is connected to Money Dance on your computer and in turn causes this program to open instead of Excel.
The Money Dance support should be able to help you with that if that is the case.

Yep your are right. I had to delete Money Dance for it to open in Excel.

Thanks
