Super new to automated strategies but hope you can help. Pretty much I have a strategy implemented for NQ futures where if EMAs are aligned it will go long/short with the move. Anyway, on a one year backtest I see that the strategy loses a solid amount where there is little price movement which is mainly overnight. Now I wanted to try the strategy from only from 9:30am to 4:00pm. I tried putting in the code below into easylanguage but the tradestation performance report didn't change at all. I went to format symbol and adjusted the times for the charts and there is a difference that I liked. Any help? I would appreciate.

(Time > 0930 or Time < 1600)

I went back to some of the threads about IBOG and from what I gathered, the substantial difference in profits isn't real? Let me know if you are familiar.
