got an oppurtunity to go back to school and will be devoting my efforts and time into learning Programming. I know Tradestation uses Easy Language, but does this convert into C+, C++ , Java ? What is the actua form of Language I need to take/learn to be able to code and program using Tradestations Easy Langueage. Thanks for the help everyone - Mike

Most popular languages these days are very similar it basic structure. PHP is similar to C#. C# is similar to EasyLanguage. Each language has its ups and downs, its power vs simplicity.

EasyLanguage is called Easy because it is. I find it more than powerful enough for trading indicators, and its simplicity is a power as well because I can spend more time trading and less time programming. If you have any experience programming pretty much any language, you can pick up the basics very easily. Even if you do not, you can still pick up the basics by simply reading the hundreds of free scripts already out there, line by line.
