Hello.

Wonder if people have any views on Tradestation DOM compared to others you may be using. With particular regard to speed, reliability and functionality.

I have attached a picture below of my current Tradestation DOM. It has features such as:
  • static price scale
  • volume which has traded at each price level
  • open price indicated
  • current high and low of the day highlighted
  • a trade count as each trade goes thru at that price
  • vwap price
From what I've read, X-trader is very good and is slightly different in that it shows cumulative volume at a given price as each trade goes thru. Not sure if this is better or not : I suppose it depends on how you use it.
Also Infinity platform has had some good reviews.

Any thoughts welcome.

I haven't used any other than TradeStation. It seems very fast and reliable.

One I find usefull is on X-trader is estimated position in queue (EPIQ) indicates how many contracts are in front of your order at any given price.

Do you have that in tradestation ?

Hello.

No, there is no EPIQ function in Tradestation as far as I know.

I was looking at InteractiveBrokers BookTrader yesterday and comparing it to Tradestation (both live accounts). And noticed that the trade sizes going thru were different. IB seemed to be grouping some togther, whereas the Tradestation one matched the Time7Sales going thru.

Would anyone know why they might be different ?

Thanks.
