Hi,

Does anyone know if there are any UK brokers to trade the Micro E-mini S&P 500 futures?
I have accounts with IG and FXCM but they are both SpreadBetting/CFD accounts.
I've read many (MANY) reviews about people losing due to crazy spikes, stop hunting, and general shittyness. No doubt some of these were due to bad trades but there seems to be far too many to ignore.

The UK seems to have a shortage of brokers that are able to trade the MES (I can't really find any).
Does anyone know of any or has anyone had a positive experience or is successful using SpreadBetting/CFD's on futures?

Even a UK broker that can trade the ES (then I can practice on simulator) would be fine.

I'v recently purchased Mack's PAT manual and am following that which seems promising but the CFD/SpreadBet spread would make it impossible to trade (not to mention expensive if i start adding contracts)

Thanks.

I have 3 accounts with US brokers, the key is to fund in GBP, ask for these instructions. This saves hundreds of pounds in costs your bank would have charged you with their terrible exchange rates.

The UK based futures brokers seem more targeted to professionals and probably require large account size and more expensive platforms but I never applied so maybe have a look at https://www.rjobrien.co.uk/
