Hi all,

I'd love to dive into options volatility trading. So far, I know the basics and I am currently reading "Option Volatility and Pricing" to expand my horizon. However, I was wondering if there was a great course for volatility trading?

I am happy for all recommendations

If you want free explanations on how options work just go to tastytrade and they have a bunch of free material.

I am in the middle of the MacroHedged course. They were offering it at $250 during COVID-19 quarantine. It's rather good.

Thanks for your suggestion. I've checked their website and the course seems interesting.
However it gives me the idea of being a theoretical course.

Nothing wrong with it, but I wonder whether they also provide tested strategies for future practical application or they just leave you with a: "ok, now you know everything, go find yourself how to apply the concepts".

Among all the course specifications I found just one point that is sounding like what I'm myself looking for:

- Finding the trade, looking for value

Have you had the chance to check it out already?

Do they mention the old classics like Condors, Butterflies, Strangles... or do they provide something more?

Thanks a lot!

The CBOE has an educational section on their web site that is a good place to start.
