I am quite new to easylanguage and therefore this may sound very beginner like buy it is something Im struggling with for a while now.
What are some of the most common mistakes when a strategy that seems correct, doesnt produce any trades.
I attached a simple strategy I coded (actually I tried to recode somebody else's strategy ), but it doesnt seem to produce any trades. I tried changing the symbol and also I tried increasing the MaxBarsBack. Does anyone have any idea what to do?

I did set the maxbarsback a bit larger and added the print statement.
Initially it didn't help, but what I noticed after was that I had to optimize the parameters a bit and then trades appeared.
