Hi,

I am looking for a little help ( actually a lot since my "programing" is that of a child)

I have a strat setup in NT8 and I am looking to set it to only take 1 trade a day. I asked this on the NT8 forum but everything they said didn't work(probably on me).

The main idea is to backwards/forwards test this and not have to spend hours marking up charts like I have been, Simply want to take 1 trade a day if signaled in then wait for the next day in this case it would be NY pre market and have it reset and wait for a signal.

In my mind this would be super easy but it seems its a little more complicated then expected.

Any help would be great.

I trade a ES bot that takes (so far) 0.98 trades/day over last 65 days and aver $374/3 contract trade with 2 targets.

I cannot comment to ninja traders ability to handle this as I am not proficient in it. I can tell you this should be VERY easy to do. I have strategies in Tradestation (easylanguage) that run this way and it's super easy to set up. The logic would be simply switch a flag when a trade is entered and not switch the flag back to take a new trade until a certain date, time, or session change. I imagine it should be super easy in ninja trader as well. Good luck!
