I want to automate some of my trading. Platforms like TradeStation & Multicharts have EasyLanguage. Ninjatrader has their Ninjascript & wizard in C#.

From what I have read, Python could be best for me, in that it is more open than EasyLanguage but not as difficult as C#.

However I do not see any major platforms (like TradeStation/MultiCharts/Ninjatrader) that offer a Python-based extension.

If I can't find it, that is a clue that maybe I am asking the wrong question? Why is there no "Multicharts" like paltform for Python?

(on a side note, I plan to focus on pair-trading, and I sense that is challenging in EasyLanguage, compared to Python or C#)

Metatrader 5 recently added support for python.

Dear 9nix6, Thanks for the info. I checked the MT5 site. It looks like the platform does not handle Options (seems strange). My focus in SPX options and FOPs. So, MT5 is not a fit for me but encouraging to see a quality platform extend to Python. I wish much success net week.
