How long have you been trading? What is your trading style/instrument/timeframe. I would just like some context to your trading journal. Sounds like from your journal you are off to a great start and have been profitable nearly every day you have traded. That is awesome!! I love to see green on the screen.
I wish you all the luck in the world. Keep it up!!!
About 5-6 years and my trading style is mainly scalping and day trading for ES/NQ, gold and crude oil. For this journal, I focus only on ES/NQ.
Although I'm not a highly profitable trader yet, I went through a great deal of pain to get to this stage. I devoted all of my time last few years in order to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
There are still much to learn and I'm still taking notes everyday.
Day 8: I got up this morning and saw market already went up to the roof. I sat empty handed most of the time until I saw some scalping opportunities to show up.
Overall, I met daily target of $200 from making $430 today.
Again, good job. I'm looking forward to see how you keep up your excellent work once you get funded. I don't mind you to post in my journal so that I know I've to work harder to get to your level.
F... me. Old bad habit just kicked in again. I put on a random trade with a highly bullish biased that it would continue to rally last night. Well, it didn't and I kept holding onto it for hour until I was down $880.
Here is why I need a journal to remind me of stupid mistakes that I made or going to make. I also need to write on a notepad which setup I'm going to trade. If I can't clearly definite any setup to trade, I should stay away from my computer. Period.
Out of 37 trades that I made since the first day of this combine, there were 4 losing trades with 2 big losers took place without following my trading plans. What that tells me is if I follow my trading plans, I would have more winning trades than losing trades and also, I'd cut lost faster when my trade doesn't work out.
I've come to a solution to punish myself for making stupid trades going forward. I'll make myself to watch market for the rest of the day without taking any trade because I know I often have a weakness to rush into a trade every time when market opens at night, especially while I'm too bullish or bearish. It'll make me to suffer by watching market the whole night and the next day while I can't trade. Besides, if I can't clearly write down on a notepad which strategy I'm going to trade, I'll move away from my computer. Period.

I often notice market makes good move overnight while I'm sleeping and there is nothing left to trade by the time I get up to trade US market . I've a day trading setup that works very well to catch these movements with trend. The problem is I don't know how to code it and I don't intend to hire any programmer to help me writing the code. I can setup the alert in NinjaTrader platform, but I've problem to get up to trade overnight due to back pain which I tried few times before. Aargh!
It seems to me that you punished yourself enough. Now, the next accomplishment is probably a psychological one "Why do I punish myself and how do I stop that?" I really believe we are not "programmed" to win on the markets. We need to "reprogram ourselves", which is not that easy.
Anyway, your results were just great.
Wish you the best.
