I'm using Tick charts for trading NQ,YM and ES in NinjaTrader.

It's always fun trying to pick (optimize) the best Tick interval on my Tick charts. As we know, the amount of ticks per day (like volume) can vary quite a bit for any given trading session.

I just came across Quantum Trading's Tickspeedometer Indicator for NinjaTrader:

It looks to be a valuable tool for picking the optimal Tick interval to set the charts at, but I don't want to pay the $279 that they are asking for it:

Question: Is there a no cost equivalent of this indicator that you may be aware of?

Thank you in advance for your responses.

Best Regards,

I think I wrote something like this years ago, and indicator named speedtick or tickspeed, I'll try to find it and put it in this thread.
According to the lines of code required, $279 is way too much...
