True enough, but it's not the first such question, and we are saying that there will be no more of this. There would be another question, then another question, then another, pretty much without an end.
There is a history on the internet involving you and others regarding this vendor. Several times the request was made, and specifically to you, to tone down the level of heat in this thread.
The fact that it was not is why that post was made. Say anything you want about him outside this forum. Here, the point has been made, and re-made, and continuing the fight is not something this thread will be available for.
Probably most or all who have an interest in Vinny will have seen enough to make up their minds by now. Maybe some will be curious and will want to go there, which is fine. Maybe others will just move on, and that is fine too. But the character, flavor and some of the content of the room have become clear, and repetition will not improve anyone's understanding.
So please respect the position of the forum moderators, whether you personally agree or not, and move on also.
We do aim to be fair, and will not always please everyone, nor always succeed for that matter. But this is the stance of the mod team. If we have to, we will simply use the power to not accept a post to enforce it, but I hope it does not come to this again.
Bob.

The paid for version of Ninjatrader has additional features, but there is a standard free version. You should still be able to import and use a free trial indicator if you wanted to.
You do not win as a trader, you just get to play again the next day. If that game doesn’t appeal to you then you should not trade. Gary Norden
This topic is fascinating to me for a number of reasons, and I've got some strong opinions to present.
First, I have to explain where I'm coming from. I'm 75 years old. I've been trading since I was 22, when I dropped out of grad school in mathematics to concentrate on my own business. My first copy of TradeStation was on 3.5" floppies! While I was trading waiting for my signals, I had plenty of free time and started answering questions about computers on the old Prodigy online system. (Google it!) Prodigy liked the way I did things and eventually hired me for ten years. I acted as moderator for its various computer bulletin boards, newsgroups, and chats. (I worked remotely so I could continue to trade as usual.) So I understand the role Bob has to play here better than most.
I'm not a shill for Vinny or futures.io. I got an Elite membership in futures.io for a pittance years ago and I've never gotten anything from Vinny. I know some won't believe that, but that's the truth. I don't lie, even though Vinny called me a liar last week. I'll get to that in a second.
My point here is that both futures.io and Vinny are right AND wrong in this. I've got an easy suggestion to correct things.
I knew nothing of Vinny until I read this thread recently. One of the posts said he had an audited record at C2. So I went to C2 to look at it and found it was marked as a private record made private by the owner. I couldn't see it. Usually that happens when an account blows up and it's embarrassing to keep it public. So I posted that. I had no idea whether or not that was the reason Vinny's account was made private, and I didn't say it was.
I found the charts posted here confusing and incomprehensible, and I said so. But I remained curious. I found a recent video which was an interview with Vinnie. I watched it. I expected an infomercial. It wasn't one. He just talked about his life and how he got to doing what he's doing now. He didn't try to sell anything. (I can't really call it an interview. I think you could ask Vinny one question and he'd go on for an hour with his answer. He likes to talk!)
So I decided to try the software. It's already been posted here that there's a free two-week trial. I'm doing that trial now. I still find it confusing. Vinny is a gamer who thinks visually. (He's also an expert programmer.) I like written instructions. His instructional videos are something like: "Here's a shark pattern." He then draws some squiggly lines. He does present charts showing the pattern; sometimes I can see it, sometimes not. I think he is a very good trader and sincere in trying to help others. I also think he's somewhat an a-hole (as am I). He's quick to judge and anger and quick to leap to conclusions. Maybe that's why he has the style of trading he does. I also think he's genuinely religious, not in the hypocritical sense of "I'm Christian and better than you" but in the true sense of trying to live up to his beliefs and principles but aware of his failures to do so.
Anyway, on to the dispute. Bob has to protect futures.io from scammers and bad vendors. There are a lot of them. Anyone can open an account here and start posting, pretending to be a normal member and not someone with something to sell. Bob makes decisions about scams all the time and of course is usually right. I think the enthusiastic poster who revived this thread is sincere, though, and not a shill. I say that because I've sat in on Vinny's room for a couple of days. People are enthusiastic in his room--they're fans. So this comment of mine is not a criticism of Bob in general, whom I respect greatly.
Vinny's attitude towards futures.io is that it's a shill for vendors. He feels he's been shut out because vendors don't want his competition. I've been a member for years and I don't see any justification for that. There are vendor topics and one Elite page of vendor discounts. I always assumed vendors have some arrangement with futures.io to get that done. But most topics here are genuine discussions of vendors and are led by the members, not the vendors. Vendor interaction is carefully monitored. Futures.io is a clean site AFAIK. I don't have any info about what goes on other than what's visible to all of us.
So Vinny's been on a diatribe about futures.io. He read my post about C2 and called me a liar. He says he quit C2 because his father was ill and he needed to help him, so stopped trading for a while. He says he had a great record on C2 but made it private because it was stale. I have no reason to doubt him. But he had no reason to say I was a liar--how would I know any of that? His comment made me angry--despite my moderator experience--so I can easily understand how he raises the hackles of many by his comments, which can be vicious and unfair.
Vinny wants to be a vendor on futures.io. So why not let him? He says he didn't know he had to register as one when he posted years ago. I didn't know that about futures.io either. Those terms may be somewhere in the agreement but I either never read them or didn't pay attention to them.
This post is too long already. My simple suggestion: allow Vinny to sign up as a vendor. Give him a chance. If he doesn't follows the rules (and make sure he knows what they are), ban him again. He's a legitimate vendor with a long history and a large following, and he offers a legitimate product. Lower the heat and make nice. That's the right thing to do.
Thanks for your suggestion, and I hope that you will find the software to be profitable for you. Feel free to report back if you do, and perhaps others will benefit from your review.
Perhaps not surprisingly, Vinny's recollection of why he was banned does not exactly agree with the what happened at the time:
Since this is the review thread for his service, he, like any vendor, registered or not, had the right to answer direct questions and dispute any statements made about him. He was not banned for not registering. He was banned for self-promotion. It is a major policy of the forum to not permit vendors to have the free rein they would like to sell their products here. It's part of keeping this forum a safe place for traders to improve their trading and learn more about trading by sharing actual experiences with other traders. Vinny explicitly said that he was aware of that policy.
Anyone who wants to read the thread from the beginning can form their own opinions on the matter, and may decide they disagree with ours. But we have to decide things based on our perceptions, judgments and understanding, and on this question, we have, and the decision is settled.
Good luck with the software, and I hope it works well for you. Let people know the outcome.
Bob.

In case there is any question by anyone, here is who Vinny really is:

Look. It's simple. Want to post as a vendor? No problem. Register as a vendor first (he did not), follow our simple rules of no self-promotion. He knew the rules, but was unable to resist promoting his business, so after warnings he was banned in 2018.
Clearly, he holds a grudge and has tried to come back to this thread many times to continue promotion, and has been banned repeatedly for it.
Creating duplicate accounts, especially vendors trying to pretend to be regular users that go on to post glowing reviews about themselves, are not permitted and are aggressively found and banned. These vendor tactics occur frequently on other sites. Not here.
Vendors don't like that. They don't like us exposing them when they try that BS. So what do they do next? Create a diversion. Queue his BS...
@TexasMade, we just went through a long period of back and forth argument and controversy about Vinny in this thread, between someone who was for him and others who were against him.
We are not ready for more. This is not the place for the kind of free-for-alls that are common on the internet.
There is more than enough information in this thread for anyone to make up their mind about whether they want to try Vinny's room or his service. If anyone isn't sure, I invite them to read the entire thread, and if they are interested, then take up Vinny's offer.
If you have a complaint about anyone, you are requested to leave policing the thread to the mods. You can report any post you have an issue with by using the octagonal Report Post icon in the upper right corner of the post and letting us know what you think is wrong. We look into every report. But do not take it into your own hands.
The rules of this forum require civility and professionalism and they are enforced. Do not get into it with another member.
Bob.
